As you know, we are blessed with the United Methodist Committee on Relief, which is already on the ground in the southern states hit by deadly tornadoes. The BIshop has extended concern and sympathy to the victims and invites us to assist if you are interested. IF you are considering donating to rescue and relief efforts, please consider doing so through UMCOR. 100% of your donation goes to the relief effort, as ALL administrative costs are paid by One Great Hour of Sharing. Administratively UMCOR is very efficient, since the staff is small and volunteers from UM churches do the relief work. If you would like to donate, go to the webite, http://www.gbgm-umc.org/umcor/ , click on “Spring Storms” and be sure during checkout you give credit to St Andrew’s UMC by following prompts. This is our UnitedMethodist Connection at work to be in ministry to neighbors at home and across the world. God bless you, Francie
