As a Lenten Project, the UMW and our youth are collecting the following items to assemble Health Kits.

  • Hand Towels
  • 15 X 25 to 17 X 27 inches, NO kitchen, cleaning or microfiber towels
  • Wash cloth
  • 15 X 15 inches only
  • Comb
  • needs to be strong and longer than 6 inches, NO pocket combs or picks
  • retail combs and combs without handles are acceptable
  • Metal Nail File
  • NO emery boards
  • Nail clippers
  • Bath Size Soap
  • 3 ounces or larger, NO Ivory or Jergens
  • DO NOT remove from original packing
  • Tooth Brush
  • adult size only
  • DO NOT remove from original packing
  • Adhesive Bandages
  • 3/4 to 1 inch size
  • Plastic Bags
  • 1 gallon size, sealable only
  • $1.00 to purchase toothpaste

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County is seeking lovingly used furniture or kitchen cabinets to help Hurricane Sandy victims refurnish their repaired/rebuilt houses.
