Share this important information with  your neighbors, co-workers, friends:  The FEMA deadline has been extended to March 1.  It is critical that everyone who had property damage in the Sandy Storm apply with FEMA by the deadline.  If you are given an application for Disaster Loan through SBA, fill it out by March 1.  Registering with FEMA and SBA serves as the entry and referral point for FEMA programs and those of partner agencies like SBA, American Red Cross, Salvation Army and Long Term Recovery Groups.  Also, the number of applications to FEMA helps to determine how much Federal and other aid our communities, county and state receive.   Disaster assistance for individuals and families can include money for rental assistance, essential home repairs, personal property and other serious disaster related needs not covered by insurance.  Visit www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call 800-621-3362.
