Pastor Andrew Maggs
Pastor
Pastor Andrew is a life-long United Methodist whose passion for ministry stems from his belief that God’s love and grace are available to all, regardless of their past, present, or future. After becoming a Certified Lay Servant in 2017 and launching a prison ministry, he answered the call to pastoring in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since. Prior to attending seminary, Andrew graduated with three associate’s degrees from Brookdale Community College as a distinguished scholar; summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Georgian Court University, where he currently serves on the Alumni Advisory Council for the School of Business and Digital Media; a Master of Divinity from Drew Theological School, and a Graduate Certificate in Restorative Justice and Prison Ministry from Drew Theological School. He brings a variety of backgrounds with him to St. Andrew's UMC, including taxation and accounting, music, and theater.
